Ayla watched some of 60 Minutes with me tonight. After the story about the WFP providing aide to the South Sudanese she said: “We should send food to CBS and label each box so they know it’s food for those people.” I don’t sugar coat things for my daughter. She needs to know that there are people starving and that there are ways to help.
Her words were a reminder that I need to do more to help those less fortunate. Helping others is helping Jesus, for Jesus is the least of us.*
