Excerpts from the 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Pretty much The Word of God is telling us to Love each other. Pray for one another. Love yourself. Respect yourself and others. Do not hate. I know it is so good for me to hear these words every once in a while. I love you. I pray for you and I desire good for you.
“You shall not bear hatred for your brother or sister in your heart.
…You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” -Leviticus 19:17-18
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person;
for the temple of God, which you are, is holy.” – 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
“You have heard that it was said,
You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I say to you, love your enemies
and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father,
for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good,
and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.” – Matthew 5:43-45
