Sturdy Shelter

The sun came out in the afternoon and warmed up our drive downstate.  Our car air conditioner was not working too well and Ayla was complaining. We reminded her that we were lucky to have some air flow and that the sun was a gift.  We arrived at our destination and enjoyed a delightful meal with our friends.  It’s a blessing to be able to spend time with friends we’ve known for years. It’s also a blessing that they invited us into their home and are letting us stay for a few days.

“Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter; whoever finds one finds a treasure.” Sirach 6:14
