Lessons Of A Young Entrepreneur

“Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in.” ~Bill Bradley

The last few days Ayla has come home from school and made pretend phones.  Yesterday she hung a sign on the front door to sell the phones.  Within a few minutes she asked why the phones were not selling. I had suggested a $1 price tag – she said $10 was good. I told her it might be good to have a sale – she marked the phones done to $5.  She did sell one to Dad but was disappointed that no one stopped by today to buy one.  This experience has brought up some good lessons in patience and persistence.

(By the way – she only accepts REAL money the PRETEND phones 😛 )
