A Dahlia Plant

“It takes a big heart to help shape little minds.”

Today was Ayla’s last day of kindergarten. She has learned new things and made new friends.  She graciously and carefully picked out a dahlia plant for her “best, best teacher” as a thank you.

I am grateful for Miss DeBeck.  It is not easy being a teacher – let alone one to 20 five- and six-year-olds.  Teachers are a HUGE part of our children’s lives.  It is important to acknowledge their hard work and dedication.  A dahlia plant is merely a TINY token of appreciation.  As the school year ends, may all teachers know they are greatly appreciated.
