For this Tempo Tuesday I’m introducing you to “Blessings” by Laura Story. I’ve always believed that the events that happen in my life, whether they be big or small, have happened for a reason. Mainly, I believe they have happened to steer me toward the Father, to strengthen my relationship with Him. I also believe that blessings come in different shapes and sizes. That is why I find hope in each blessing. If you’re praying and you think your prayers are not being answered, look around. The answers may be in a form you weren’t expecting.
‘Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
And what if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You’re near
What if my greatest disappointments
Or the aching of this life
Is the revealing of a greater thirst
This world can’t satisfy
And what if trials of this life
The rain, the storms, the hardest nights
Are Your mercies in disguise
Hope in Everyday Blessings
